The 2711-K5A16 is a PanelView 550 which belongs to the Bulletin 2711 PanelView Standard Operator Terminal product family. The unit has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 128 x 64. The terminal Monochrome has LCD blue mode display with a backlight life of 100,000 hr. It has a built-in RS232 (DF1) port for peer-to-peer data exchange to PLCs and other RS232 enabled devices and another RS232 printer port for application download and printing of alarm list and messages. The PanelView 550 has Ten (10) Function keys (F1 to F10) assignable to specific runtime objects and functions. The 2711-K5A16 rated power supply input range is 85-264V AC, with a frequency of 47-63 Hz. The 2711-K5A16 supports alarm handling, screen security, analog gauges, ATA memory card, and online printing. The PanelView 550 operation is configurable using the PanelBuilder32 software. Runtime operation and alarm printing setting are parameterized using the software. Create graphic displays utilizing the PanelBuilder32 element library such as Pushbuttons, Selector switches, Screen Selectors, Data Entry objects, Information displays, Alarm diagnostics and a variety of drawing elements ranging from basic shapes, custom graphics, standard ISA symbols and bitmap images. The terminal has a Random Access Memory (RAM) of 170KB and 240KB non-volatile memory. Optionally, the terminal’s memory can be expanded with the use of an ATA memory card with memory ranging from 2MB to 32 flash memory. Operator terminal accessories include antiglare overlays, function key legend inserts, backlight replacements, Real-time clock modules, mounting hardware, Power supply terminal block and interface modules, communication cables and upload / download cables.
