The 2711-K5A10L1 is a PanelView 550 which belongs to the Bulletin 2711 PanelView Standard Operator Terminal product family. The unit has a Monochrome LCD blue mode display, 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 128 x 64 with a backlight life of 100,000 hr. The terminal has a built-in DeviceNet and RS232 printer port for printing alarm list and messages. DeviceNet is an industry standard protocol used to interconnect control devices via Common Industrial Protocol (CIP). The 2711-K5A10L1 supports alarm handling, screen security, analog gauges, ATA memory card, and online printing through the built-in RS232 printer port. The terminal’s rated power supply input range is 18…32V DC (24V DC nominal supply). Operator control can be initiated through the terminal’s Ten (10) Function keys (F1 to F10) assignable to specific runtime objects and functions. Configuration of the runtime graphics and behavior is done with PanelBuilder32 software. Design software element such as Pushbuttons, Selector switches, Screen Selectors, Data Entry objects, Information displays, Alarm diagnostics and a variety of drawing elements ranging from basic shapes, custom graphics, standard ISA symbols and bitmap images. The terminal has a Random Access Memory (RAM) of 170KB and 240KB non-volatile memory. Optionally, the terminal’s memory can be expanded with the use of an ATA memory card with memory ranging from 2MB to 32 flash memory. Operator terminal accessories include antiglare overlays, function key legend inserts, backlight replacements, Real-time clock modules, mounting hardware, Power supply terminal block and interface modules, communication cables and upload / download cables.
